Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care: Deliver comprehensive care, including personal hygiene assistance, mobility support, and feeding, while maintaining dignity and respect for the patient.
Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
Health Monitoring: Check vital signs, record observations, and promptly report any changes in the patient’s condition to the supervising healthcare provider.
Rehabilitation Support: Assist in physical therapy exercises, mobility training, and post-operative care as needed.
Emotional Support: Provide companionship, reassurance, and a positive environment to enhance the patient’s mental well-being.
Hygiene & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for the patient, adhering to hygiene protocols.
Emergency Handling: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid as required.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient progress, medications, and care provided.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
Nursing diploma, ANM/GNM certification, or a degree in nursing.
Valid nursing registration with the Indian Nursing Council or state nursing board.
Proven experience (1+ years) in caregiving, nursing, or a related field.
Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
Basic proficiency in English and fluency in regional languages.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physically fit and capable of performing caregiving tasks, including lifting and assisting patients.
Preferred:
Prior experience in home care or elder care settings.
Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response.
Familiarity with using medical equipment such as oxygen machines, or IV drips.
